ARCOS DA LAPA

The armchair is a tribute from the designer to his beloved woman, a native of Rio de Janeiro who left Rio de Janeiro for the interior of Santa Catarina. In addition to the shape that refers to the famous Lapa arches, the presence of concrete in the arms further reinforces the reference to the old aqueduct from the colonial period. Just like the famous canal, the Arcos da Lapa armchair converts imposing cemented structures into a setting for moments of relaxation.
