The Charrua armchair (a name that refers to the warrior Indian tribes of the Gaucho pampas), brings in its concept and look references of pure Brazilianness. Its lines - which intuitively refer to the work of master Sérgio Rodrigues, are not the result of chance. The idea was to capture small details of shapes and curves present in the master's pieces - which is and will always be a reference when it comes to Brazilian design. The Charrua armchair, therefore, more than a piece of furniture, is a tribute to the one who influenced a generation of designers and of which I am part.
